First time coming here. Our waitress Alisha was awesome! Very accomadating. Chill atmosphere. They provide a salad with a bread basket. For appetizers, we had the wrapped bacon shrimp with honey crackle BBQ sauce. I ordered the 12oz Delmonico medium well with a side of mashed potatoes and shrimp. The steak was cooked perfectly, and the mashed potatoes were my favorite! For dessert, we had the vanilla Creme brulee and their signature special, which I believe was a cream puff with ice cream. Highly recommended.
My boyfriend and I came here for the first time last after walking around the Rochester lights and I could not be more happy that we did. I loved everything about the old school expensive atmosphere, if that makes sense lol (I love places that look like the mafia once frequented). Every waitstaff we came in contact with was very courteous. Our actually waiter, Jonathan was amazing. He answered all of our questions, was very friendly and helpful, just overall went above and beyond. Then of course, the food. There wasn’t a bite that we had that we didn’t love. Started with the scallop and pork belly appetizer, then got the 14 oz. Delmonico, med-rare as the Lord intended lol SO SO GOOD. We also added on twin lobster tails, tender, sweet, delicious. The bread and bean salad that comes in the beginning. To die for. So simple yet could not stop eating it. For dessert, the Vanilla crepe brûlée, the carmelized sugar crust, perfection, the crème was smooth, and couldn’t be better.
Very nice lunch. Crab cakes, seafood platter and steak was delicious. Cocktails were decent, key lime pie tasted great! Be prepared to spend alot for the quality of food.
I had the pleasure of coming to Rochester chop house for my anniversary. The food was phenomenal, and I had kevin as my waiter. Best experience with a server. Very fun and outgoing. The manager Travis was also very kind and personable. Best dining experience 10/10 would definitely recommend. We are going to continue to come back each year to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you Rochester chop house for a night to remember.
306 House Salad + Perch + Butter cake = ❤️ This restaurant offers a fine dining menu and experience. Everything about my first visit was impressive.
My first time going here and we spent $280 plus…. && it was worth every single penny. The food was outstanding!!! The best food i have had in my whole life. The steak was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The bacon wrapped shrimp are delicious!!! Even the butter cake was so good!! Super elegant and the service was a 10/10!! Will definitely be back for my birthday! :))
Lovely place. Seafood was room temp and a little dry, both the lobster and the King Crab. Leonna was a great server and had lovely suggestions for us all! We will return, but try other menu options next time. The bill for 2 of us for 4 drinks and dinners, no appetizers, was $210.
We loved the cozy ambience on a rainy dinner date. The food was amazing. We had crab cakes, french onion soup(was lil salty) and lobster tails. We loved the lobster. Todd was out waiter for the night and he was really sweet and helped us gracefully. We loved his professionalism. We will definitely visit again.
